We Sit in Your Peace
Lord,
When the world feels like it is spinning out of control, or going at a hundred miles an hour – we choose to sit in your peace, Father God.
When the work is piling up and the deadlines are getting closer, or even past – we choose to sit in your peace, Father God.
When the kids are constantly fighting and relationships feel frayed – we choose to sit in your peace, Father God.
When the world feels like it is only made up or cruel, unfeeling people – we choose to sit in your peace, Father God.
When there is broken relationship, and our hearts hurt – we choose to sit in your peace, Father God.
We choose to sit in your peace, Father God, for we know that you are bigger than all of that. That none of it surprises you. That we can trust that you know what’s going on and you have a plan. You alone can be trusted.
