#7 – Embracing Your Business Journey with Kayla Brissi

This week we have another exciting podcast with one of Christian Women in Business’ Foundation member, Kayla Brissi.

Kayla is a wife, Mom and a business coach for Fearless Entrepreneurial Women. Her approach is infused by her passion for spreading empowerment to women so that they truly can have it all by keeping their priorities in check: Faith, Family & Business.

In her free time, you can catch her trying to keep up with her son, reading the latest Nicholas Sparks novel or anything personal development related, binge watching Netflix, spending quality with her family or day dreaming about sitting on the beach, soaking up the sun and sipping a margarita.

Kayla has been on a business journey for over a decade. The birth of her miracle son after 9 years of trying to conceive, and missing him when she had to go to work, really gave her the desire to focus on a business that will not take precious time away from her child. She prayed because she knew she was meant for more but does not know what it could be. God’s answer came through a Facebook ad about a business coach. She finally found what she had been looking for.

5 Tips on your Craft

Being Visible in Your Business is the foundation.

  1. Who is your ideal client
  2. Identify your hook
  3. Find your unique voice and use it
  4. Share and develop your story
  5. Be authentically you

How do you incorporate God into your business?

With Daily Prayer, bible study and mediation. Business comes with moments of doubt, fear, stress and frustration and whenever she is in a tough situation, she remembers to just be still and read her favorite verses and reflect on them and do some journaling.

Kayla’s Bible Verse for this season in her life:

Proverbs 31:25

She is clothed with strength and dignity;
and she laughs without fear of the future.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
