You’re Born to Be Creative

“In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth…”
Genesis 1:1

Today is all about God and creativity, and I’m just going to read briefly what the bible says. It says,

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth. God created man in his own image, in the image of God, he created him. Male and female. He created them.” Genesis 1:27

God is creative and because we are made in his own image that means that we also have that power of creativity. But I think we forget a lot of times and when we talk about creativity, I don’t think that we necessarily are talking about or just purely talking about being an artist, or painting, or crafting, or sculpturing something. We can become really creative in the kitchen when we cook our meals to our family and kids.

We can be really creative in the way that we live life, in the way that we wake up in the morning, in the way that we write our newsletters, in the way that we interact with our clients. I think this week, I just wanted to touch base on creativity, because I think that’s such a powerful skill or a power that we have as creatures of God.

It’s all about, I guess, tapping into that power, that we forget sometimes we have it. What I wanted to do was a little prayer with all of you, so I kindly ask you if we could all please close our eyes for a little prayer to God, and we pray…
